I live in the town of Florence and find this information devastating, to say the least. How can we, as residents, be of help in possibly stopping this mining from taking place?
No In My Backyard (NIMBY)…………
In this day and time we do not need mines close to the towns. The water supply is at a level that we cannot pussyfoot around and have water (not knowing) if it is dangerous or not, living in the desert (water) is our life blood.
I too am a Florence home owner and would like to know what we, as Florence residents, can do to prevent this from happening. This is completely unacceptable and must be stopped. Everyone needs to watch the documentary Gas Land to wrap your head around fracking and what it does to our water supply. There must be something we can do to stop this.
